LACUNA TIMBER FOLDING DOORS

Lacuna doors are proud to be the most durable timber folding doors on the market, as well as being beautifully designed. Handcrafted in Denmark, these doors are made using heat treated beech, which is the same process used by the Vikings on the hull of long boats. 

This unique process ensures the timber cannot absorb moisture which makes it extremely robust and means you don’t get the normal movement you associate with a timber door. Lacuna doors are designed to last in excess of 50 years, even in more exposed locations. 

The heat-treated beech is also exceptional for thermal performance and can achieve overall U values of 1.2 double glazed or as low as .07 triple glazed. 

Lacuna doors are not only well made and highly practical, they also offer incredible detail that a lot of other doors don’t offer. Each handle and hinge is exclusively made for Lacuna, ensuring each piece of ironmongery is exactly the same length and diameter across your door.
